Regular Season Round 3: Future Team - Mustangs 62-96

The game with biggest result difference took place in Steiermark. Local Future Team (0-3) was outscored by Mustangs (3-0) 96-62 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Mustangs. Future Team managed to win second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Mustangs dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Future Team's 32. Mustangs forced 20 Future Team turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Future Team's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Ian Moschik (200-1996) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Czech forward Jakub Jokl (211-1996, college: Utah) helped adding 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Mustangs players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized American guard Justin McCaw (190-1998) with 18 points and forward Nikhil Sacher (188-2001, college: Marshalltown) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Future Team's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Mustangs will meet Blackbirds (#5) in the next round. Future Team will play against KOS (#8) in Celovec and hopes to get finally their first victory.
