We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Holbaek (1-4) was smashed at home by ninth ranked Copenhagen (2-5) 96-73 on Sunday. The winners were led by Spanish guard Andrew Ramirez (181-1997, college: Hartford) who scored that evening 23 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Rasmus Secher (196-2002) supported him with 20 points. Even 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Trinidad and Tobago guard Zidane Moore (188-2001, college: Lewis & Clark) did not help to save the game for Holbaek. Power forward Peter Beier-Christiansen (204-2002) added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Copenhagen moved-up to eighth place. Loser Holbaek dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Copenhagen will meet at home Herlev (#10) in the next round. Holbaek will play against the league's second-placed Naestved and will have a slim chance for a victory.
