Rather expected game when 13th ranked Burhaniye (1-5) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Cerkezkoy (3-3) 75-63 on Sunday. Cerkezkoy dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Burhaniye's 22. They outrebounded Burhaniye 49-34 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Ionna McKenzie (188-1996, college: Texas Tech) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 21 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Basak Gemalmaz (-2002) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. Cerkezkoy moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Burhaniye lost third consecutive game.
