Date: October 28, 2023
There was no surprise when 11th ranked Mannheim (2-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Langen (5-1) 72-68 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was forward Leon Pullen (198-2000) who scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Risto Vasiljevic (195-2001) chipped in 17 points. Four Langen players scored in double figures. Langen's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Eric Curth produced 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Russian Albert Kuppe (200-1988) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Langen have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Mannheim keeps the eleventh place with five games lost.
