Rather expected game in Vinnytsia where Blyskavky was crushed by Frankivsk 78-46 on Saturday. Frankivsk forced 19 Blyskavky turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Oksana Mollova (188-1988, agency: BIG) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Daria Kononuchenko (187-2004) chipped in 9 points and 13 rebounds. Frankivsk's coach Yuriy Protsuk felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Tetyana Bashtova (179-1993) produced 6 points and 11 rebounds and Iryna Zhmurko (185-1996) added 8 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Frankivsk will meet at home Kyiv Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Blyskavky will play against Rivne-SDYUSHOR and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
