Bottom-ranked MBC is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to fifth ranked Chemnitz (4-1) 74-65. Chemnitz outrebounded MBC 41-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. American forward Jeff Garrett (201-1994, college: LSUS, agency: Players Group) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Jonas Richter (206-1997) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Five Chemnitz players scored in double figures. Martin Breunig (203-1992, college: Montana) responded with 16 points and Norwegian forward Chris-Ebou Ndow (201-1993, college: NW Missouri St.) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds.
