Bottom-ranked Nevezis is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to fourth ranked Wolves (6-1) 89-74 on Saturday evening. Wolves shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Nevezis' players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward TreShawn Thurman (201-1995, college: Nevada) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Arnas Berucka (196-1997, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Croatian point guard Lovre Basic (180-1995, agency: BIG) came up with 12 points and 9 assists and DR Congolese center Viny Okouo (214-1997) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Nevezis in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wolves moved-up to third place. Nevezis lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Wolves will meet at home Juventus (#5) in the next round. Nevezis will play against Siauliai (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
