Bottom-ranked Ormanspor managed to get a second victory, breaking the six-game losing streak. This time they won against seventeenth-ranked Ankaragucu 102-95. They outrebounded Ankaragucu 48-29 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Osman Sirin (207-1990, college: Charlotte) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Marcus Weathers (196-1997, college: SMU) replied with 22 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and his fellow American import point guard Kyan Anderson (180-1992, college: TCU) added 24 points and 7 assists in the effort for Ankaragucu. Five Ormanspor and four Ankaragucu players scored in double figures. Ankaragucu's coach Hakan Koktas rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Ormanspor (2-6) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Kocaeli and Bornova. Ankaragucu lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Ormanspor will play against higher ranked Konyaspor (#6) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
