Regular Season Round 6: Push Kyiv - MBC-Niko 2 81-85

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Push Kyiv (3-4) was defeated at home by third ranked MBC-Niko 2 (5-1) 85-81 on Sunday. Push Kyiv was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. MBC-Niko 2 forced 21 Push Kyiv turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Oleksandr Garbar (200-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Vladislav Orzul (192-2001) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. Five MBC-Niko 2 players scored in double figures. Swingman Oleksiy Kochura (195-2001) produced 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Dmitro Kravchenko (193-1997) added 22 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. MBC-Niko 2 maintains third place with 5-1 record behind leader Prometey. Newly promoted Push Kyiv dropped to the eighth position with four games lost.
