Regular Season Round 8: Haremspor - TED Ankara 82-78

Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 12th ranked TED Ankara (3-5) was defeated by fourth ranked Haremspor (6-2) 82-78 on Monday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Haremspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Osiris Eldridge (191-1988, college: Illinois St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and guard Gokhan Aydin (191-1995) who added 27 points and 4 assists during the contest. American guard Teyvon Myers (188-1994, college: WVU) responded with 32 points and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Julien Ducree (206-1997, college: Utah Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). TED Ankara's coach Korhan Aydanarig tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Haremspor moved-up to third place, which they share with Gaziantep. TED Ankara lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with Final Spor and Cayirova. Haremspor will meet league's second-placed Yalovaspor on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. TED Ankara will play against Cayirova (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
