MBC has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked BG Goettingen (1-3) 97-89 on Saturday. MBC dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BG Goettingen 's 40. Martin Breunig (203-1992, college: Montana) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Diante Baldwin (180-1994, college: UNCG) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Four MBC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Umoja Gibson (185-1998, college: DePaul) with 35 points (!!!) and his fellow American import guard Deondre Burns (191-1997, college: ORU) scored 14 points and 5 assists. BG Goettingen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. MBC (1-5) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. It was BG Goettingen 's third loss in a row. They dropped to the fourteenth position with three games lost.
