Not a big story in a game in Innsbruck where 11th rankedLions (1-4) were defeated by sixth ranked Raiders Tirol (4-2) 79-72 on Saturday. Lions were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Raiders Tirol dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lions ' 34. They outrebounded Lions 50-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Thomas Pirchner (207-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Croatian guard Roko Gizdavcic (190-2001, agency: AltusBasket) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Raiders Tirol's coach Amir Medinov used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Greek forward Kiousis Charalampos (202-2002) produced 23 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian power forward Toni Cutuk (208-1999) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Lions players scored in double figures. Raiders Tirol moved-up to fifth place. Lions lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with Flames.
