Very predictable result when ninth rankedBalikesir (5-4) won against at home bottom-ranked Ankaragucu (1-8) 112-108 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Balikesir made 32-of-37 free shots (86.5 percent) during the game, while Ankaragucu only scored sixteen points from the stripe. Balikesir looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American forward Marcus Weathers (196-1997, college: SMU) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Ilhan Gokalp (197-1991) added 19 points respectively for Ankaragucu in the defeat. Four Balikesir and five Ankaragucu players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Balikesir have a solid series of four victories in a row.
