There was a minor upset when 5th rankedDinamo B. (3-5) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked Timisoara (3-4) 91-82 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 35-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Timisoara made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Serbian-Bosnian point guard Nikola Gajic (195-1991, college: SF Austin) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian guard Luka Mitrovic (191-1996) helped adding 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Five Timisoara players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Cortez Edwards (188, college: Southern Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 13 points and 9 assists and American-Slovakian guard Andre Jones (191-1990, college: Winthrop) scored 20 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Timisoara moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Constanta and Ploiesti CSM. Dinamo B. lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.
