Regular Season Round 10: Westerstede - Bramsche 90-85

There was a minor upset when 6th rankedBramsche (3-4) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Westerstede (3-4) 90-85 on Saturday. Westerstede outrebounded Bramsche 45-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Westerstede looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Carrington Wiggins (188, college: MSUB) scored 45 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Gaspar Kocevar chipped in 15 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard David Simental (188-1998, college: Regis Univ.) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and Moritz Dresing (194-2001) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Bramsche players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Westerstede moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Bramsche .
