Everything went according to plan in Tuebingen where third rankedChemnitz (6-1) outleveled bottom-ranked Tigers (1-6) 106-68 on Sunday. Chemnitz shot 61.0 percent from the field and made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Chemnitz forced 20 Tigers turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. It was a great evening for American guard DeAndre Lansdowne (188-1989, college: Fort Lewis) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. His fellow American import Wesley Van Beck (191-1996, college: Houston) helped adding 28 points and 4 assists. Four Chemnitz players scored in double figures. At the losing side Puerto Rican-Panamanian point guard Jhivvan Jackson (183-1998, college: UTSA) responded with 14 points and 5 assists and American forward Jimmy Boeheim (204-1998, college: Syracuse) scored 16 points. Tigers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chemnitz have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with ALBA and Ulm. Tigers lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom place with six games lost. They share the position with Heidelberg and Crailsheim.
