Very predictable result when third rankedAdana (7-2) beat at home 8th ranked Emlak 2 (4-5) 65-61 on Wednesday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Adana looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. DR Congolese power forward Chanel Mokango (188-1988, college: MSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds for the winners and Ilknur Yildizhan (186-1996) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) with 18 points and 4 assists and Eda Balkan (-2004) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Emlak 2's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Adana . Newly promoted Adana maintains third place with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader Ferhatoglu, which they share with Bodrum. Loser Emlak 2 keeps the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Urla and Cerkezkoy.
