Very important is a home loss of third rankedALBA Berlin (6-2) against thirteenth ranked MBC (3-5) on Sunday night. Host ALBA Berlin was crushed by MBC in Berlin 108-75 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ALBA Berlin. MBC shot 61.3 percent from the field and made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Diante Baldwin (180-1994, college: UNCG) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Norwegian forward Chris-Ebou Ndow (201-1993, college: NW Missouri St.) who added 23 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Five MBC players scored in double figures. Naturalized New Zealand center Yannick Wetzell (206-1996, college: SDSU) responded with 21 points and Italian guard Matteo Spagnolo (193-2003) scored 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MBC have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Braunschweig. ALBA Berlin at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Vechta.
