Very important is a road loss of second rankedConstanta 2 (3-3) against eighth ranked Gheorgheni (3-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Constanta 2 was crushed by Gheorgheni in Gheorgheni 79-60 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Constanta 2. The game was mostly controlled by Gheorgheni. Constanta 2 managed to win third quarter 14-12 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gheorgheni forced 20 Constanta 2 turnovers. Center Tamas Bodo (-2003) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Martell Miller (198-1996, college: Detroit) chipped in 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Gheorgheni players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Andrei Calintaru (188-2006) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Moldovan forward Vitalie Balan (202-2000) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gheorgheni moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Constanta 2 .
