Another exciting game was between fifth rankedTrier and 4th placed Muenster where Trier (7-2) crushed Muenster (6-3) on the road with 22-point difference 117-95 . It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Muenster. Gladiators dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Muenster 's 36 and made 27-of-32 charity shots (84.4 percent) during the game. Five Gladiators players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trier moved-up to second place, which they share with Jena. Muenster at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Hagen and Kirchheim.
