There was a minor upset in Allmendingen where 12th rankedBreitenguessbach (3-6) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (2-7) 66-57 on Saturday. Ehingen forced 19 TSV Troester turnovers. The best player for the winners was British-Australian swingman Adam Thoseby (197-1991, college: GSW) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Center Vincent Neugebauer (213-2002) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Thoseby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was center Luca Woerrlein (204-2000) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and guard Steffen Walde (190-1992) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ehingen moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Bernau and Schwenningen. Newly promoted TSV Troester dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
