An interesting game took place in Antspor where higher rankedBursa (6-5) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked Mersin G. (4-7) 80-72 on Saturday. Mersin G. made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!). Eslem Guler (180-2006) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Aliyah Mazyck (175-1996, college: USC) produced 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 blocks and naturalized Swedish guard Maryam Gultekin (166-1990) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Mersin G. have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Urla and Yalova Vip. Bursa at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Botas GA and Emlak 2.
