Rather predictable result when fifth rankedOldenburger TB (5-3) beat at home 8th ranked Bramsche (3-6) 79-74 on Saturday. Oldenburger TB made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Bramsche turnovers and outrebounded them 48-28 including a 22-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Oldenburger TB looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bramsche 's players. Piet Niehus (188-1998) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners and Andre Galler (195-1992) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Bramsche lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Bamberg and Westerstede.
