Top rankedratiopharm Ulm (8-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by thirteenth ranked Seawolves (4-6) 107-89 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ratiopharm Ulm. Rostock shot 62.9 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Rostock looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American Derrick Alston Jr (206-1997, college: Boise St.) fired 24 points for the winners. The other American import swingman Eric Lockett (196-1995, college: NC State) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Lockett is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international Karim Jallow (198-1997) produced 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and American guard Dakota Mathias (193-1995, college: Purdue) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bamberg. Ulm at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost.
