There was no surprise when 5th rankedKornwestheim (3-5) was crushed on the road by third ranked Ulm (5-1) 100-52 on Sunday. Ulm dominated down low during the game scoring 84 of its points in the paint compared to Kornwestheim 's 26. Ulm forced 32 Kornwestheim turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kornwestheim 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Luca Sarnowska (188-2006) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 7 rebounds and Polish point guard Zoran Milicic (185-2006) who added 22 points and 5 steals during the contest. Four Ulm players scored in double figures. Samuel Kurr responded with 14 points and Jonathan Gerlinger scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Ulm moved-up to second place. Loser Kornwestheim dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Hamburg and Heidelberg.
