Regular Season Round 11: UDW Alligators - Mustangs 74-66

First defeat of league's leaderMustangs (10-1) against second ranked Alligators (10-1) 74-66 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Mustangs. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Mustangs were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Alligators made 7 blocks. Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-1984, college: Chaminade) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Simon Marek (180-2001) contributed with 10 points and 4 assists for the winners. Alligators' coach Lukas Hofer used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Ian Moschik (200-1996) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and Czech center Viktor Vasat (207-1997) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Mustangs. UDW Alligators have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Mustangs.
