Very expected game when 6th rankedKapakli Spor (8-7) was smashed on the road by first ranked Yalovaspor (13-2) 107-66 on Saturday. Yalovaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Power forward Melih Kapucu (204-1990) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Troy Franklin (183-1989, college: Coppin St.) came up with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Ibrahim Pinarer (-1998) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kapakli Spor in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yalovaspor maintains first place with 13-2 record. Newly promoted Kapakli Spor keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Final Spor and Igdir.
