There was a minor upset in Bucuresti where one of their biggest challengersBrasov (7-5) was outplayed by sixth ranked Dinamo (6-6) 92-55 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo. Brasov managed to win fourth quarter 16-13 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dinamo forced 21 Brasov turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andrei Mandache (190-1987, agency: BIG) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. American point guard Cortez Edwards (188-1997, college: Southern Miss, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Dinamo B. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Senegalese power forward Ousmane Barro (207-1984, college: Marquette) who recorded 9 points and 16 rebounds and American forward Jacoby Armstrong (201-1995, college: UNH) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Brasov keeps the fourth position with five games lost.
