The game had a very big importance for second-rankedBakken as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bakken smashed 10th ranked Holbaek in Aarhus 101-67 . Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. American forward DeAndre Pinckney (203-2000, college: Southern Miss) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Noah Sorensen (194-2003) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Trinidad and Tobago guard Zidane Moore (188-2001, college: Lewis & Clark) replied with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Gustav Winther (207-2004) added 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) in the effort for Holbaek. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Holbaek lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with ten games lost.
