Regular Season Round 15: BAC - Bakken 60-113

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Aarhus:Bakken (#1) and BAC (#8). BAC was crushed at home by 53 points 60-113 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Bakken shot 61.4 percent from the field. They also forced 19 BAC turnovers and outrebounded them 44-26 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bakken looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Sylvester Pedersen (201-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward DeAndre Pinckney (203-2000, college: Southern Miss) helped adding 14 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Tobias Hemmersam (197) with 16 points and 4 steals and point guard Filip Ates (185-2004) scored 7 points and 9 assists. BAC's coach Thomas Hemmingsen gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Bakken (12-0) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. BAC at the other side keeps the eighth position with ten games lost.
