We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th rankedConstanta (6-7) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Craiova (5-6) 93-86 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Craiova led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ukrainian point guard Vitaliy Zotov (188-1997) stepped up and scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and New Zealand forward Matt Freeman (207-1997, college: UCSB) chipped in 22 points. Four Craiova players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Jorden Randell (186-1996, college: N.Texas) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and the former international swingman Dragos Diculescu (196-1999, agency: VM Hoops Agency) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Constanta's coach Dan Fleseriu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Craiova maintains sixth place with 5-6 record, which they share with Targu Jiu. Loser Constanta keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Dinamo.
