Very predictable result in Kastrup where fourth rankedNaestved (10-3) smashed bottom-ranked Amager (1-12) 103-66 on Thursday. Naestved shot 20 for 28 from the free-throw line, while Amager only scored three points from the stripe. They outrebounded Amager 49-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by Amager helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Dutch forward Lagio Grantsaan (203-1997, college: Morgan St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Robin Duncan (196-1996, college: Vermont) helped adding 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Naestved players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Andrew Sims (198, college: Stonehill) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Naestved . They moved-up to third place, which they share with Horsens IC. Loser Amager stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
