Regular Season Round 13: Vienna - Gmunden 77-80

The most exciting game of round 13 in the BSL took place in Vienna. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placedBC Vienna (7-4) to fifth ranked Gmunden Swans (8-4) 80-77 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Vienna. Vienna was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 27-22 charge of Gmunden, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by BC Vienna helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Toni Blazan (197-1992, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 rebounds. American center Trey Moses (208-1997, college: Ball St., agency: One Motive Sports) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Bogic Vujosevic (192-1992) answered with 20 points and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-1990) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for BC Vienna. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Vienna at the other side dropped to the sixth position with four games lost.
