There was no surprise in Bonn where 12th rankedBrose Bamberg (5-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Telekom Baskets (9-6) 88-74 on Friday. Bonn looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Point guard Glynn Watson Jr (183-1997, college: Nebraska) stepped up and scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and guard Brian Fobbs (196-1998, college: Towson) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Five Telekom Baskets players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Zach Copeland (193-1997, college: Illinois St.) responded with 27 points and 4 assists and forward Adrian Nelson (203-1999, college: YSU, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Brose Bamberg's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bonn moved-up to fourth place. Bamberg lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost.
