Not a big story in a game in Dresden where 15th rankedVechta-2 (4-11) was edged by tenth ranked Titans (8-7) 97-94 on Tuesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Dresden made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for guard Daniel Kirchner (187-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Canadian Tanner Graham (200-1996, college: Queen's) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Four Titans players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Roman Bedime (203-2001) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and American forward Kaden Anderson (203, college: PLNU) scored 23 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Dresden moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Bayreuth and Karlsruhe PS. Newly promoted Vechta 2 keeps the fifteenth position with 11 games lost.
