No shocking result in a game in Innsbruck where seventh rankedRaiders Tirol (7-4) defeated 10th ranked BBU (4-9) 78-74 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Raiders Tirol forced 22 BBU turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Stefan Oberhauser (190-1992) stepped up and scored 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and Bosnian-Croatian guard Tihomir Vranjes (195-1995) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Raiders Tirol players scored in double figures. At the losing side German guard Robert Becker (200-2002) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian-German forward Luka Kamber (203-1994, college: Nicholls St.) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Raiders moved-up to sixth place. BBU Salzburg lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost.
