There was a small surprise when tenth rankedTimberwolves (3-13) won against at home 8th ranked BC Vienna (7-7) 62-56 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 33-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Timberwolves outrebounded BC Vienna 44-30 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Timberwolves especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Forward Elias Wlasak (190-2000) nailed 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and the former international point guard Moritz Lanegger (190-1990) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds. Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-1990) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Bogic Vujosevic (192-1992) added 11 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for BC Vienna in the defeat. Timberwolves maintains tenth place with 3-13 record. Vienna lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost.
