Regular Season Round 17: Lich Basketball - SC Wizards 78-64

There was an upset when leaderSC Wizards (12-3) were defeated on the road by fifth ranked Lich Basketball (10-5) 78-64 on Saturday. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Till Wagner (200-2001) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. Lich Basketball's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stefan Ilzhoefer (200-1995) responded with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Miles Mallory (196, college: RMC) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four SC Wizards players scored in double figures. Lich Basketball have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Salzkotten. Loser SC Wizards still keep top position with three games lost. They share it with Langen.
