There was a small surprise when eleventh rankedKangaroos (6-10) defeated 8th ranked TKS 49ers (8-8) in Stahnsdorf 87-78 on Saturday. Iserlohn made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Iserlohn outrebounded TKS 49ers 38-27 including 27 on the defensive glass. Iserlohn looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by center Jonathan Almstedt (208-1999) who scored that evening 21 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and American Travis Henson (199-1999, college: CSUB) supported him with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four Kangaroos players scored in double figures. Even 24 points by Robin Jorch (211-1994, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for TKS 49ers . Yannick Hildebrandt (195-1997) added 16 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. TKS 49ers' coach Vladimir Pastushenko rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Iserlohn moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Bernau and Herford. Loser TKS 49ers keep the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with Ludwigsburg and Rostock II.
