Very predictable result in Vilniaus where fourth rankedVKM (9-4) outscored 11th ranked Alytaus (1-12) 91-56 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by VKM. Alytaus managed to win second period 21-20 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. VKM dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Alytaus ' 36. VKM forced 20 Alytaus turnovers and outrebounded them 53-30 including a 24-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Four VKM players scored in double figures. VKM's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Matas Gavenauskas responded with 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Nojus Kazlauskas (181-2006) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for VKM . They moved-up to third place, which they share with Panevezio. Loser Alytaus keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost.
