Very predictable result when third rankedRBA Getica (8-6) rolled over on the road 9th ranked Brasov (4-10) 77-55 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. RBA Getica dominated on the defensive end, holding Brasov to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Brasov 's 20. They outrebounded Brasov 54-30 including a 22-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Marian Cochela (202-2003) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and Robert Papuc (-2005) supported him with 17 points and 5 steals. Even 25 points by Alexandru Hodorac (-2004) did not help to save the game for Brasov . Point guard Ovidiu Stochici (182-1995) added 14 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Newly promoted RBA Getica maintains third position with 8-6 record having just three points less than leader Steaua B. Brasov lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with ten games lost.
