The most exciting game of round 18 in the BBL took place in Wuerzburg. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 8th rankedALBA Berlin (10-5) to fourth ranked s Oliver Baskets (12-5) 76-75 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ALBA Berlin. American Zac Seljaas (202-1997, college: BYU) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import point guard Otis Livingston II (180-1996, college: GMU) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Sterling Brown (197-1995, college: SMU) with 21 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized New Zealand center Yannick Wetzell (206-1996, college: SDSU) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). ALBA Berlin's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Wuerzburg maintains fourth position with 12-5 record. ALBA at the other side keeps the eighth place with five games lost. Wuerzburg are looking forward to face Braunschweig (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ALBA will play against Ulm and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
