There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedAlytaus (2-12) won against at home higher ranked Perkunas (7-7) 69-63 on Tuesday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-8 . But Perkunas won second period 19-10 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Matas Gavenauskas notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and point guard Nojus Kazlauskas (181-2006) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Alytaus players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Paulius Lukasevicius (181-2006) did not help to save the game for Perkunas . Point guard Ugnius Lanka (175-2006) added 6 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Perkunas' coach Ignas Dirda rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Alytaus maintains eleventh position with 2-12 record. Loser Perkunas keeps the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Gargzdu SM.
