We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Tuebingen where 16th rankedTigers (5-14) were defeated by seventeenth ranked Hakro Merlins (4-15) 96-85 on Friday. Crailsheim made 36-of-41 free shots (87.8 percent) during the game, while Tuebingen only scored twenty points from the stripe. It was a great evening for American guard Keandre Cook (194-1997, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!). French guard Leo Westermann (198-1992, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side Puerto Rican-Panamanian point guard Jhivvan Jackson (182-1998, college: UTSA) responded with 22 points, 7 assists and 5 steals (made all of his eight free throws) and American power forward Evan Maxwell (208-1995, college: IWU, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Crailsheim maintains seventeenth place with 4-15 record. Newly promoted Tuebingen keeps the sixteenth position with 14 games lost.
