No shocking result in a game in Wildau where sixth rankedBramsche (8-9) defeated 10th ranked Wusterhausen (4-12) 73-69 on Saturday. Bramsche made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Strangely Wusterhausen outrebounded Bramsche 40-22 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard David Simental (188-1998, college: Regis Univ.) stepped up and scored 30 points for the winners and Moritz Dresing (194-2001) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Erik Penteker (183-2002) with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Joshua Lubken (209-2000) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Wusterhausen players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Bramsche maintains sixth place with 8-9 record, which they share with Haiterbach. Wusterhausen lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 12 games lost.
