The game between closely ranked teams ended withRm Valcea 's (5-4) road loss to Targu Jiu (8-1) in Rovinari 91-95 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-91. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Dimitrius Underwood (193-1998, college: Charleston) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import guard Ethan Wright (190-2000, college: Colorado) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. American guard Stephaun Branch (196-1995, college: UWG, agency: Slash Sports) came up with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international forward Radu Virna (190-1997, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rm Valcea in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
