Everything went according to plan when sixth rankedKirchheim Knights (13-9) defeated 11th ranked Titans (9-13) in Dresden 84-73 on Sunday. Kirchheim made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. American guard Michael Flowers (185-1999, college: WSU) notched 31 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (made all of his ten free throws !!!) to lead the effort and naturalized Chilean power forward Aitor Pickett (203-1999) supported him with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 13 points and 7 assists by guard Daniel Kirchner (187-1997) did not help to save the game for Dresden . Forward Arne Wendler (199-1999) added 15 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Titans' coach tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kirchheim Knights have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 13-9 record, which they share with Karlsruhe PS. Dresden lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 13 games lost.
