One of their biggest challengersAistes-LSMU (5-10) was outscored at home by fifth ranked Siauliai (4-10) with the biggest margin this round 86-65 . Siauliai players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU) who scored that evening 38 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field) and Bulgarian guard Valeria Aleksieva (166-2000) supported her with 16 points and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by the former international forward Gintare Mazionyte (186-1991, college: Texas) did not help to save the game for Aistes-LSMU . Gintare Paulauskaite (185-1995) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Siauliai maintains fifth position with 4-10 record. Aistes-LSMU lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with ten games lost.
