An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kaunas. Second rankedTornado KM faced 4th ranked VKM . Host Tornado KM (14-2) defeated guests from Vilniaus (10-6) 94-89 . VKM was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 32-23 charge of Tornado KM, which allowed them to win the game. Tornado KM outrebounded VKM 40-26 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Gustas Kucinskas (185-2006) fired 20 points and 7 assists for the winners. Center Arminas Vilkas (200-2007) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Tornado KM's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Dziugas Remeikis (190-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and guard Mantas Liutkevicius (185-2007) added 28 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tornado KM maintains second position with 14-2 record behind leader Zalgiris. VKM at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. They share the position with Panevezio.
