An exciting game was played in Herlev. Second rankedHerlev faced one of their biggest challengers Amager . Host Herlev (7-6) defeated guests from Kastrup (6-7) 77-73 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Amager. Herlev made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Anastasia Warren (173, college: Stony Brook) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Ellen Iversen (180-1997) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Anna Seilund (174-1993, college: USF) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-1992, college: CMU) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Amager. Four Amager players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Herlev maintains second position with 7-6 record having five points less than leader Falcon. Amager at the other side keeps the fourth place with seven games lost.
